Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) ruptures are common in youngsters who play sports like football and cricket as well as in those involved in motorcycle accidents.

ACL is a very important stabiliser of the knee. If the ACL is damaged, the knee feels unstable and patients are unable to take part in sports or other high impact activities like dancing and running etc. 

We recommend early reconstruction to avoid progression to arthritis at an early age. Reconstruction is done through keyhole surgery.
